“He can sleep through the night, and wake up the following morning with no tantrums. That is the biggest improvement I saw after using the Sleep Therapy for 3 months. On Teachability, there is a difference. I can see he can copy now.
Because his mood is more stable in the morning when he wakes up, of course, he is happier now. "

Video: Better tolerance with bare foot walking on sand. He used to walk on tip toe.. Today can see less tip toeing.
Ya.. In term of his response also improved. He can better understand what we told him
I recalled last week we went park, he put his bottle on the ground. When we want to move to another spot, I just said 'take your bottle' without called him and looked at him... The next second he took the bottle then walked in front of me already 😅
I reflect then realized he is indeed improving without me noticing 😁

Detoxification List
Detox List with Eczema, Mucus, Farts and many more...
Farts with Constipation
Fart with Constipation Cough with a Lot of Mucus
Bad Breadth
Recently in the last 1 or 2 weeks, his breath is more smelly. That time, he had running nose and cough. Morning during washing, I noticed the very strong bad smell, like never before. After he returned home from school, I also noticed it.
Emotional Discharge
Mood not very good.
Out of a sudden, he would cry very pitifully during therapy, with tears, not whining sort. Then he would ok. We let him cry until he calmed down. If we asked him, he would cry even louder and get more emotional. He could control himself. Easier to manage if we leave him alone. Otherwise, he would cry more.

"Sleep is the biggest improvement I saw. "
SLEEP QUALITY
BEFORE

AFTER
He can sleep through the night, and wake up the following morning with no tantrums. That is the biggest improvement I saw after using the Sleep Therapy. He is ready for the day. At least, I do not need to manage his morning tantrum.
In the past, he would fall asleep really late at 11 or 12 midnight. The next day when we woke him up at 7am, he would throw tantrums when he woke because he had not slept enough.
Now, he normally does not even need to take afternoon nap. At 9.30 to 10pm, he is already tired. The moment I have the Healing Mat laid properly, he will automatically go over and fall asleep shortly. He likes the feel of the Healing Mat since day 1.
Normally, it takes a short time for him to fall asleep. No more tossing and turning, like before.

Video: Better tolerance with bare foot walking on sand. He used to walk on tip toe.. Today can see less tiptoeing.
Sensory- he would usually tip toe on sand. Tipetoe is still there but it has obviously reduced.
As we were sitting on the beach, he would reach out to touch the sand.
"He enjoyed water play with sister."

RESPONSIVENESS
Day 48
“I recalled last week we went park, he put his bottle on the ground. When we want to move to another spot, I just said 'take your bottle' without called him and looked at him... The next second he took the bottle then walked in front of me already 😅I reflect then realized he is indeed improving without me noticing 😁”
We were at the playground, when he put the water bottle on the floor after asking for water bottle and drinking. I told my husband let’s go to the next spot. I told my daughter ‘come, take your bottle. Let’s go!’
Spontaneously, he took the bottle right away and walked ahead of us. He is very fast now.
In the past, I had to point for him to take the bottle, then pull him up and urged him to go.

"He displayed an awareness of the surrounding."
We had steamboat at home for Mother’s Day. My husband wanted to take a selfie photo for the family. He was seated while eating. He would lower his head and bend forward a little so that he could be included in the picture.
I could see that his response is very special, like never before. He would purposely bend forward. This is the body language that we would normally do because we would look into the camera, making sure we are within the photo frame. He knew that his father’s hand is blocking his face.

"He can coordinate."
All the while, I feel that he is very aware of actions of me and my daughter.
My husband has the habit of teaching my girl very funny adult song, like ‘Taugay Ong cai taugay’. We did not teach him intentionally.
One day, we asked him to sing with us. ‘Taugay…’ He continued the song, ‘ong cai taugay’.
He can coordinate. He notices what we are doing, even though he may not be directly involved. He is absorbing.

We noticed he started to use sentence in requesting voluntarily, particularly in saying “I want nene (milk)”.
Usually we need to prompt him to complete this request.

BODY LANGUAGE
Day 65
Video - he said ‘y’, ‘m’ while doodling on whiteboard.
Recently, if he wants something, he will point to direct, using the entire flat palm gesture.
For example, he kept pointing towards my car. Father did not respond, so he just ran towards the car. Father followed. Then he signalled father to open the car so he could take a book from inside the car.
At home, he would use his hand gesture to signal the direction of the thing he wants. He would use body language.
Previously he would just whine.

"His reading can be heard more clearly and with confidence, and louder in volume."
VERBAL
There is improvement in his pronunciation - clearer.
As he was flipping the picture book, he would mumble to himself in the past.
Now you can hear he is reading the word ‘tiger’ - can be heard more clearly and with confidence, and louder in volume.
ENT has been cleared now so his tongue control is stronger. Do not stop there.

WRITING
Comment on 15 Mar: unwilling to do tracing.
Since last week 4 Mar, he started to like writing recently. I was very busy with work I was too tired and wanted to rest over the weekend. Out of his own initiative, he would take tracing paper and a marker on his own. He started writing on the colourful tracing cards. I see that he is more independent, writing on his own. I would have to guide him. He would write automatically. He would sit for almost 15 minutes. After he saw me cleaning the tracing cards for him with tissue paper so he could write again, he copied and then followed exactly.
Since last weekend, he continued these few days too.
He prefers marker pens only. He will draw on the whiteboard.

CONCLUSION
Any regret over purchase of Sleep Therapy?
No regret. I did not expect big leaps. I saw little improvement. So I will continue to let him use the Healing Mat and observe further.
Now I just need to consider if I want him to embark on Accelerated Learning Programme.

"Sleep Therapy Has Worked on the Output."
Consultant: Focus on the first three aspects
Mother: Sleep - I do see improvement.
Dietary - There is improvement, but room for a lot more improvement.
Toilet - can be better
Consultant: Once 1,2,3 are properly managed, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 will gradually improve.
For the next 3 months, work on the input.
Overcome the obstacles.

"You have to make up for it, by reteaching him some skills he had missed in the past 6 years through ALP."
It is a learning process most babies pick up naturally before two, but he missed it due to physical constraints back then.
Now, you have to make up for it, by reteaching him some skills he had missed in the past 6 years through accelerated teaching techniques so that he can catch up gradually but surely.
Work on his verbal expression.

"Now it is the time to increase his vocabulary so as to enhance his receptive language."
Consultant: If you wish to build up his communication skills, there is a sequence of progression.
From body language, followed by verbal language with the choice of the right words.
You have already seen improvement in his body language.
Now it is the time to increase his vocabulary so as to enhance his receptive language.

Sister's Progress
"Fever for a day. Before that, she had running nose and flu, her body was a little warm."
As a Secondary User, 2 yo Sister has been sleeping on the same bed as her brother, who is the Primary User.
She had a temp of 37.5°C, lower than 38°C. Before that, she had running nose and flu, her body was a little warm.
No medication given, she just recovered on her own.
I kept giving her distilled water.
Highest 38°C. Normal temp is 36.5°C.
Fever for a day. 2nd day just a little warm. Back to normal by 3rd day. Normal stamina.

"I see that her skin has improved a lot."
My daughter’s skin is more beautiful now.
In the past, her two legs would be very rough and eczema kept flaring up. She would feel the itch and scratch a lot. You would see a lot of eczema patches.
After using Healing Mat for 1 to 2 months, I realise her legs are now very smooth. No marks now. I see that her skin has improved a lot.

As an Additional User, Father has been sleeping in the same room as the son, who is the Primary User.
He does not have direct contact with koo energy Healing mat. Yet he has also experienced regulation in his health.
His detox reactions are similar to mother’s.
For the first month, both of us experienced full body pain.
He had legs itchiness, but he did not bleed from scratching.
Our detox symptoms were exactly the same.
Mother’s symptoms came on sooner than father. Both benefited from Sleep Therapy.

Interviews in English
After 2 months of ALP
"I am surprised that he already knows it."
Even though I teach him words formation through the alphabet toys, just after once and twice, he already knows the word and the action. I am surprised that he already knows it.
When I go through this activity, it is just for revision. It is not a difficult activity. Sometimes, I feel he knows a lot. But he does not show much in his daily application. I need to use many ways to let him show his ability. I may not succeed to bring out his ability every time.
Whenever I take out the handphone, he knows I want to record him and he may not want to show me his reaction at all.

"That is one breakthrough that I observed."
Yesterday, when I went through the ALP Book Brown Bear with you. I was trying to ask him to read for me.
Apparently, I found that he could read out. He is reading the book.
Previously, he used to fill in the blanks for me. I would read part of it. I would leave one or two words for him to read.
Yesterday, he could read the whole sentences. Brown bear, brown bear what you see?
You can hear the pronunciation is still very weak. But he is trying hard to complete the whole sentence.

Communication Skills
"I do see improvement in terms of him expressing his needs via his body language."
Initial Objective of koo energy Sleep Therapy
I told you that I wanted him to express himself more to me so I know what he wants.
I do see improvement in terms of him expressing his needs via his body language.
Like I told you, now he will point more to me and tell me exactly and where the things he want, although it is still limited by the language he uses.
So we accelerated it with ALP.

For the last month, I think I can hear more words from him.
Consultant: Your initial concern, when going through these book, are they memorising what they hear or do they recognise the words on the book.
When given a sentence to read, will they read out, and it is not from the book they have seen.
After you have gone through ALP for the past three months, any telltale symptoms in this aspect, is he applying what he has learnt?
For the last month, I think I can hear more words from him.
Mother: Out of sudden, he will sing me a song, like “Good morning, good morning.”
This is the song that they learn from morning nursery.
Sometimes, I will do role-play with him and his sister before sleep time. We will pretend having a classroom at the school. We have to the good morning song to start the day. And we have the storytelling section. We will do this.
He picked up that thing after he went back to school for that week. It happened that week.

Consultant: Other that the words that appeared in Chinese ALP books, like 爱你。
Mother: There are new words coming out from him.
One day, he suddenly woke up early in the morning. I was so tired. He actually needed a bottle of milk. He whispered beside me and asked me to ‘wake up’ ‘wake up’ and asked me to make him the milk. That is the word he never used before.
Suddenly while he is playing, he will say “Happy day! Happy day!” (From ALP Book Happy Birthday!)

"He suddenly said, 'Goodbye' and waved to the traffic light outside the car."
Restriction is not that strict no. We can actually have a car ride in four.
One day, we stopped at the traffic light. When green light turned on, our car started to move.
He suddenly said, 'Good bye'! And waved to the traffic light outside, for holding him back.

"There was once I heard quite clear singing sound from him".
Consultant: In terms of the variety in his expression. Is there any change? Last time, it was more action. Now, is he more willing to speak?
Mother: Now he is more willing to speak, when he is by himself. Sometimes, he is laughing, you will see he is mumbling.
Sometimes, he is singing. There was once I heard quite clear singing sound from him and I tried to video him. The moment I put my handphone, he was so sensitive then he stopped totally.

Feedback from School
"Teacher mentioned he basically showed interest and wanted the teacher to read the books for him."
Teacher from his morning school has given very good feedback on his progress.
2-3 months before this, just before kick-start of ALP - after Sleep Therapy for 3 months.
Teacher mentioned he basically showed interest and wanted the teacher to read the books for him.
Usually I will send him in before 8 o’clock. Class will normally start at 8.30. During that period of time, the students are allowed to do their own activities before the real session started.
He would go near the teacher. He would randomly take a book and ask the teacher to read with him. The teacher would start to read with him. Though he was not really following the teacher, he was flipping through the book. He showed the interest of wanting the teacher to read with him.

Significant Progress
"The teacher was very impressed by how he did at school."
After the 3 months of ALP, we have been lockdown, then he was back to school.
On the first day of school, the teacher was very impressed by how he did at school. When he reached school, he knew exactly where his seat was. He basically sat through the whole morning session, without going up and down, or going around the class. He used not to be able to sit still on his own seat, and he would tend to walk around.
That was the good feedback I got from the teacher.
From the school teacher: Last time when they needed him to ask him to do something, they needed to go near him to tell him so he could understand.
But now, from far, they ask him or call him out, he can really respond to the teacher and know what he needs to do.
These are the two improvements the school teacher has been observing.

More Improvement
"He now can basically sit longer, lesser tantrum. He shows interest to learn."
The therapist also gave me some feedback: He now can basically sit longer, lesser tantrum.
Last time, when he was doing the home therapy, probably because of home environment, he tended to be a bit cheeky. For three hour session, doing the last hour, he would start to make noise or whine, did not want to do the activity.
But now, after the lockdown, last week started. He did not make any noise. The whining was really short. He knows that he has to finish the three hours session on all the activities.
That is also a great improvement - he shows the interest to learn. He is wiling to learn - not by force.

"Compared to last time, he is more ready. I do not really see any complaint or whining. "
When the therapist comes, he is actually very ready for the session. He kind of looks forward to the therapy session to start.
Compared to last time, he is more ready and I do not need to ask him to follow the teacher into the room. He will go by himself.
Even if the teacher comes early, he cannot wait for the session to start. Probably because of the bonding the therapist has with the teacher. I do not see any reluctance from him to have the Therapy.
In the past, he would have task reluctance for certain tasks that he really did not like to do, like the OT session - some activities were kind of hard for him to do, so he would tend to complain or whine - last time.
Now, I do not really see.

Teacher Mother's Observation
"He can really pay attention to what I am going to teach him."
I also do notice from the point I started ALP until the recent last month, he also can sit longer, as compared to previously.
Whenever I want to read a book with him, then I ask him to come and sit with me. He will just automatically come and sit down with me. He can really pay attention to what I am going to teach him.

Closer Interaction with Sibling
"I can see there are times when the two really have chemistry to play together."
Consultant: You were concerned that he was not joining in the sister’s world with his mother, he was always in his own world, and appeared lonely as you were engaging the sister.
Mother: That one I also see improvement.
Yesterday, I was busy tidying up the kitchen after dinner time. I was cleaning up the kitchen. My husband was occupied with his own thing.
The two children are playing inside the room. I can see he is enjoying. Sometimes, Sister will basically tickle her brother, just to make him laugh, just to make him play together with her.
Yesterday, I can see both of them were enjoying the moments. The two of us were observing at the back. I did not have time to take video at that point of time. They were so enjoying.
So I can see there are times the two really have chemistry to play together. Though it is without any words, you can see from his smile that he really enjoys the bonding time with his sister.

"When I say we have to sit and study, he just goes to the table-chair, and starts sitting there."
Consultant: Interaction with the sister was different in the past?
Mother: It has definitely improved already.
Sometimes we will ask him to help Sister to switch on the lights. I will need them take their own pyjamas to change before sleep.
I will ask Joshua to turn on the room lights for Sister, because he is tall enough. I will ask sister to follow along with her brother. Or else, there is nobody to turn on the lights for her. She needs to tag along with Brother.
They are already being tasked to do that since last month.
He has been practising to do it by himself.
There are certain tasks he needs to help Sister.
There are also certain tasks that Sister needs to guide him.
Sometimes, I ask him to help me to take things for me.
Sister is more aware of where the things are. She always wants to be the first to take for me, instead of her brother.
I told her “You guide Joshua and tell Joshua where it is. I want Joshua to take it for me.”

Conclusion
"He has gone so hooked with 'the hungry caterpillar' now."
Consultant: You have gone through Sleep Therapy since 8 Feb, Today is 14 Aug. What is your conclusion, after 7 months of Sleep Therapy and 3 months of Accelerated Learning Programme (ALP)
Mother: I feel more comfortable and also confident in teaching him now, after ALP and also Sleep Therapy. I do foresee that I could get more output from him in coming months.
The first 3 months of Sleep Therapy, those expected benefits that you mentioned at the Seminar, even if it did not appear constantly on him. All those came after 3 months of Sleep Therapy.
Like the frequency of passing motion. No more constipation. He can poo once every two days. Sometimes it is everyday already.
His sensory issues of accepting new food, like I told you before.
Now he is keen to eat ice cream. Even the lemonade.
Last time, he was sensitive to cold things.
Now if let’s say I make the lemonade, he is keen to try.
Those are the improvement that I see since he embarked on koo energ y Sleep Therapy.

"koo energy Sleep Therapy is the most effective so far. I am satisfied with ALP."
With 3 months of Accelerated Learning Programme (after 4 months of koo energy Sleep Therapy), whatever improvement I see now, I think it is quite reasonable.
I am satisfied. Just need to be persistent throughout the journey.
As a parent, because I have tried all sorts of treatment and recommendation. I think this one (koo energy Sleep Therapy) is the most effective so far.
I do see a lot of benefits, after I have come on board ALP (koo energy Accelerated Learning Programme). Not only for himself, but also myself. I have also picked up quite a lot of skills, in terms of how I engaged my kids in terms of reading.
I appreciate more and enjoy more when I read with them. This is something I get from ALP.
I have grabbed the techniques. I just need to continue to pursue it.
Consultant: Once you are are ready with the confidence, you are able to apply whatever I have taught you over the past three months - to teach the child. It is very powerful when we empower the parents. It is non-stop learning.
Mother: I know the essence of ALP now.
I need to spend more time, to plan it out for my son.
