Many of us, adults and even children are kept awake by devices with unnatural light and brain-stimulating content. We have been told to keep handphones, tablets, laptops, computers away from the bedroom and turn down the lights and music, start winding down before bedtime.

Adrenal Fatigue
The condition is due to adrenal glands either producing too much or too little adrenaline, or swing between the two states.
Commonly, the adrenal glands are underachieve during the day, as they hold back in case a crisis arises. This makes you feel sluggish and tired throughout the day. When the night comes, no emergency occurs os the adrenal glands release the adrenaline, suddenly waking you up.
Overactive adrenal glands produce excessive adrenaline which corrodes and burns out neurotransmitters, getting in the way of sleep. Underachieve glands at night do not produce enough of specific hormones to help with falling asleep - that is entering REM sleep followed by dreaming.
Anxiety
