What is a Pulse Oximeter?
Pulse oximeters for home use are small, lightweight monitors that painlessly attach to a fingertip to monitor the amount of oxygen carried in the body. An oxygen level of greater than 95% is generally considered to be a normal oxygen level. An oxygen level of 92% or less (at sea level) suggests a low blood oxygen. In addition to oxygen level, pulse rate is also displayed. Normal pulse rate values for adults 60-80 beats per minute. With exercise, heart rate is expected to increase while oxygen saturation may slightly decrease (it should still remain at 90% or greater though). With koo energy Card, Oxygen level achieves 100% as blood capillaries expand. Heart rate drops as it does not have to work as hard as before. |
Test Subject: 16 year-old female student from school basketball team and trains two times a week.
What does this test show: Saturated Oxygen Level increased from 98% to 100% i.e. with koo energy SPRAY, the micro-capillaries expanded, thus supplying more oxygen than before use. Pulse Rate decreased from 54 to 51 beats per minute i.e. with koo energy SPRAY, the heart did not have to work as hard as before, with the increase in oxygen flow. |
